  1. Article for the PA Newsletter: THINKING STRATEGICALLY RCS200

    It has been an extraordinarily exciting start to the new academic year, and both Kris and I have been delighted to join such a wonderful school community. As you can all imagine the start of the school year has been busy, but it has also been very productive. We have had many good discussions about the future of the school, the students have attacked their work and after-school activities with relish, and the faculty members are doing a wonderful job in their classes. I have focused on meeting various members of the RCS community—students, parents, board members and alumni and we have hosted several magnificent events on the campuses: Homecoming, Open Houses and the Middle and Upper Schools Parents’ Weekend. ...

  2. RCS MS/US Parents' Day Speech

    Welcome! My family and I are delighted to be here and to have started to settle in at the school. It has been an exciting few months, and I have been so warmly welcomed and embraced by the community of teachers, students, parents and alumni of this great school. Thank you to everyone for that fine welcome. I want to thank Kent Kildahl, Milton Sipp and the faculty members and staff in both the Middle School and Upper School divisions for their work and inviting me to talk today.
