  1. Day 54: Travis, Eleventh Grader

    Before I share what I’ve learned today, I’d like to begin by introducing myself. My name is Travis and I’m an eleventh grader at RCS. Although I love a lot of things, I feel like the most related thing I could mention is my love of music. I say most related because what I learned today, and have been learning over the past few weeks, is the interconnectedness of my education, often where I least expect it.   2. Day 53: Jackie, Registrar and Assistant to the Deans of Grades 11 & 12

    The past few weeks have been a trying time for someone very close to me - so much so that it inevitably affects me and others who are close to both of us. The effect that the situation has had on others varies from slight concern to worrisome fears to nightmares. Some others who know send their thoughts and prayers, dismiss the situation and move on. As a mother of two children and having worked in an office with many children over many years, I am inclined to feel protective, give comfort in the form of hugs and sincere uh-uhs, give advice to and keep things organized.
