Day 95: Olivia, Sixth Grader

[ By on February 21, 2013 ]

In a recent X Factor, I saw a fabulous presentation by Kerry Kennedy about her life as a human rights activist. Kerry is the daughter of Ethel and Robert Kennedy. She talked about what a human rights activist does in the world. She talked about the traits that an activist must have, such as bravery and grit. Before the presentation I had a vague idea about what one does as an activist, but after that presentation I knew much more about the job. I will definitely be talking about this event in Change Agents, a group that meets every Friday to discuss what needs to be addressed in school. I loved the presentation and I hope that Kerry can come again!

Olivia loves to horseback ride, play squash, dance, and act dramatically!
