Student-Directed Theater Night Offers Something for Everyone

Riverdale’s talented student directors and actors showcased their acting and singing chops during the recent Student-Directed Theater Night.

First, junior Rachael Sonnenberg directed the short comedy, Family 2.0, which featured juniors Alex O’Shea, Berk Pearlstein, Ian Blow, Keifer Ludwig, and Courtney Taylor, as well as sophomore Anabel Getz.

Then, seniors Emma Brick and Sarah Doyle presented Jason Robert Brown’s Songs for a New World, which showcased 18 Upper School students, senior Patrick Orenstein on percussion, and Middle and Upper School Accompanist Jacob Rhodebeck on the piano.
